This site is very upto date with talks which are, in some cases,  only a few weeks old. 
 
We are still at the Gostin Building despite being surrounded by the massive building works of the Paradise Street Project!
 

The Liverpool Buddhist Centre provides teaching for those who want to try Meditation and who want be introduced to the central teachings and practices of Buddhism. There are also opportunities to take these practices to a deeper level and establish more regular and sustained Buddhist Practice. In the courses we introduce the central Buddhist teachings and practices. These teachings can make a significant difference to ones life. The courses are open to all of whatever faith or belief. Or those with no religious faith or belief at all

The Liverpool Buddhist Centre is part of the Friends of the Western Buddhist Order (FWBO). It is an international Buddhist movement which began in the 1960's in England. It was established by an Englishman Sangharakshita who at that time was a Buddhist monk of over 20 years experience. The movement has since spread to many other countries in Europe, the Americas, to India , Australia and New Zealand.

 

 

 

Future Events
 
Our next Buddhism and Meditation Course starts on Thursday 26th  June at 7.15pm.On the course  we will explore the 3 fold path of meditation , ethics and wisdom and the meditation on the breath. The recommended donation is £35/£25 for the six weeks of the course. Please book by contacting Buddhashanti by email or phone.He will be away between 4th and 16th June.

There will be a meditation day in July on a Saturday to be confirmed

Please note that Buddhashanti will be away for two weeks from 2nd June Any emails recieved between these dates willl be answered after he returns.
